Millions of years ago volcano’s erupted all over North America and the world. Some areas still show remains of those lava flows throughout the landscape. In this area of south Idaho where back in the 1950’s scientist explored nuclear power of which the town of Arco was the first town in the world to be lit up by it. The town is pretty small now and looks to be pretty much closed up. A few restaurants are open for take out and dine in. We dined inside of one for the first time in months yesterday. Pickles Place! Had a pretty good hamburger!
